Karate-New Students Ages 5 & Up
American Kenpo Karate - This champion youth program reinforces important practical skills we all need in everyday life; safety awareness, self-control, self-esteem, responsible citizenship and avoidance of drugs. Participants learn basic karate moves and self-defense combinations in a fun atmosphere. It is based on a no nonsense style of self-defense and is not sport martial arts. Control rather than aggressiveness is emphasized. Only students that are registered can participate in the class. Parent participation is encouraged and only students that are registered can participate in the class.
Local opportunities to connect, learn and grow. Course offerings are typically announced three times per year in mid-August, mid-December, and early March.
Early Childhood Family Education classes are offered in Richfield at the Central Education Center. Fees are based on a sliding scale, and no one is turned away for inability to pay!
Parents and their children can play and learn together in short events or activities.
