Registration is required in advance for all activities:

  • Online Registration:
Register online anytime, 24 hours a day at your convenience. You will receive immediate credit card processing and class confirmation. Note: after your transaction has been confirmed, if you need to make any changes you must call or visit our office for assistance.

  • Walk In or Mail In Registration

If you are paying with cash you should have the exact amount. Make checks payable to Richfield Community Education.

  • Fax Registration
Fax your completed registration form with your credit or debit card information to 612-243-3067.

  • Phone Registration
Registration can be completed over the phone using VISA, Mastercard, Discover, American Express or ACH payment. Call: 612-243-3000.


Register early! - Classes must meet a minimum number of enrollments to be held, and some classes also fill quickly. We make decisions to hold each class based on enrollment one week prior to the class start date. Community Education reserves the right to cancel any activity/class that does not meet minimum enrollment. You will be contacted and complete refunds will be given when this occurs. 

Confirmations - If you have submitted an email address, you will receive a confirmation via email. If you do not have or submit an email address, we will not send you a confirmation; assume you are in the class.

Cancellations and Refunds - Customer initiated cancellations received within 5 or more business days prior to the start of the class will qualify for a refund minus a non-refundable $10 processing fee. Cancellations made less than 5 business days prior to the start date of activity/class will not be eligible for a refund. Please notify us if you cannot attend so that we can contact other customers that are on the wait list. 

Inclement Weather- Decisions for cancellations due to weather generally follow Richfield Public Schools guidelines and will be posted on local news sources, Facebook and Twitter.


Notes: Adult Enrichment Registrations

We classify adults as 16 years or older. Youth Classes will state the age range or the grade in the description.

UCare Discounts:  Members of UCare eligible plans can receive $15 off their Community Education class. The UCare ID number must be provided when registering. Most plans allow 3 or more yearly discounts. Contact us for details. 


Notes: Youth Program Registrations

Special Needs - Contact 612-243-3003 if your child needs assistance to attend the class. Advance notice is important to assure appropriate accommodations.

Financial Aid Available - See Richfield R.E.A.D.Y. page for more information and application. 

For after school classes: Students should meet at the designated classroom area immediately after school. Students should be picked up at the classroom immediately after the class ends.

Parents please send a reminder note to your child's teacher indicating which days your child will be attending after school classes. Child should check in at the designated room advertised.

Driver Education classes and Behind The Wheel training have specific policies.  Please review the parent/student contract signed at the time of registration or contact us for details.
