    Become a Pokémon Master of 3D Design! Design your own unique 3D Pokémon using TinkerCAD. Explore your creativity and experiment with SimLab and create themed video games.   • Bounce! - Summer Theater Camp

    Bounce! is a contemporary, high-energy musical about Reggie, a 10-year-old who just can’t stay out of trouble at school. Reggie attends an elementary school led with characters familiar to all of us. By the end of the day, Reggie learns that his energy can be a strength, not a weakness. Come excited and enthusiastic! Parts are available for all age groups and everyone will receive a part. Please note the performance time/date when you register. This activity is partially supported by a generous donation. Financial assistance is also available through Richfield R.E.A.D.Y.   • Destination Mars: Rocketry Camp

    Launch and watch your very own rocket speed 300 feet into the air! Then it is yours to take home! Students will make and take home multiple rockets of varying difficulty throughout this session. We will use these rockets and airplanes to investigate basic aeronautical concepts including: propulsion, thrust, lift, drag and more. We will also hypothesize about travel in outer space, how to get a United States astronaut to Mars and life on Mars. NOTE: Parents will be asked to contribute two 2 liter soda bottles (empty) for 2 different experiments.     Have you ever wished drawing was easy? Well in this class, it couldn’t be easier! For each drawing project, students will learn a simple step-by-step method as they draw well-dressed llamas, cute kittens, adorable pandas, and more. Drawing is easy, fun, and anyone can do it- and this class proves it!   • Foam, Slime & Potions

    Step into a world of captivating experiments and mind-blowing discoveries! Our hands-on camp will immerse your child into the enchanting realm of foam, slime, and potions, as we unravel the secrets of science. Prepare to concoct elixirs that magically change color, create your own bouncy balls, and whip up some homemade PopRocks that fizz in your mouth. Each experiment combines the perfect blend of creativity and scientific exploration. And while having a blast, you'll uncover a wealth of scientific facts and theories, transforming learning into a bubbling cauldron of pure excitement!   • GigaTech Robotics

    In this dynamic session, your child will dive into key Robotics and STEM concepts while building and programming up to eight unique motorized robotic and engineering models. As they construct projects like a power plant, military tank, construction crane, windmill, sand truck, and farming plough, they’ll develop critical logical thinking skills and gain insights into essential engineering principles, including kinetic and potential energy, chain transmissions, angular momentum, Newton’s laws, and centrifugal force. This program not only inspires creativity but also equips students with the foundational knowledge they need for future success in technology and engineering.   • Intro to 3D Printing & CAD

    This 3D printing camp takes students through the 3D printing process from start to finish. Students will design 3D objects using TinkerCAD and the 3D slicing program Cura to bring their creations to life. This course is an excellent introduction to 3D printing and is ideal for students who like to draw, design, imagine, and see their creations come to life. Students will also explore creating 3D environments on Co-spaces. Printing and material fees are included. Students will get to bring home two of their 3D creations.   • Junk Journaling

    Come join us and immerse yourself in the world of Junk Journaling and writing! Over the course of 4 days, participants will hone in on their creative writing skills. We will use all sorts of upcycled materials to bring our ideas to life. We’ll talk about collages, vision boards and our own personal styles. Participants will take away their own personal journals and hopefully a piece of writing that they can be proud of. All materials provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own journals or anything that inspires them!     Every kid dreams of owning a hamster or a dog or maybe a kitty. In this critter-filled camp, their dream will come true, sort of! The kids will create pets galore! At this camp we will work with clay, paint and draw too! No trips to the pet store are required.   • Pokémon-Inspired Game Coding

    In this class, we introduce students to programming concepts using Scratch. Learn to create an interactive 2D video game using your FAVORITE Pokémon-inspired characters. Students will be walked through step-by-step tutorials to create 2-4 working games and animations using popular themed sprites.   • Preschool Adventures

    Age 3-5 Come Learn! Move! and Play- Indoors & Outdoors! Register for one or many of these sessions taught by our very own Early Childhood Instructor. Each session will focus on a different theme. Chicka Chicka Boom Boom- will there be enough room? We will create projects based on this classic book and make learning fun! Come learn all about letters and the sounds each letter makes. Dinosaurs- Learn the different types of dinosaurs, what they eat & how big/small they were! Wonders of Water- Discover the wonders of water, what makes it evaporate, how does it freeze and melt, what sinks and floats? We may get a little wet! Gardening- Exploring dirt and seeds while learning about the life cycle of plants. We will plant our own seed that we will watch grow and be able to take home. Children must be toilet trained unless a previously granted medical/developmental exemption applies. Children must be wearing underwear. A child having accidents daily would not be considered toilet trained. Please note that wearing pull-ups is NOT considered toilet trained.

In each lesson, you'll receive expert guidance on sight-reading, ear training, and technique. A one-time $30 material fee payable to the instructor is due at the first lesson. This is a bilingual instructor who can speak Spanish and English. Individual piano lessons will be 30 minutes in length. A one-time $30 material fee is payable to the instructor at first lesson. Students should have access to a piano or keyboard to practice at home. For school-age students, parents should remain on-site and can expect to engage in conversation with the instructor centering on the student’s success. Payment for the next series of lessons must be received 1 week prior to your last scheduled lesson to hold your spot in the next session.

As the lead scientist, you’ll dive into a universe of gooey, gunky, gloppy slimes, discovering a unique slime each day. But that’s not all—brace yourself for amazing activities where you’ll create eruptions, engineer a hovercraft, craft a glowing planetary night lamp, and so much more! It’s a wild, slime-filled STEAM camp unlike anything you’ve experienced before!   • Woodworking

    Build a paddle boat, a bird house, trophy stand and garden tote. Builders will learn to measure, cut, sand, paint and then take home each project they build. This class educates students on the use of basic tools (hammers, nails, screwdriver, measuring tape, t-square and more). SAFETY IS OUR FIRST PRIORITY. No power tools will be used in class. NOTE: Participants should be comfortable cutting using a small saw as well as using other hand tools. Students should wear clothes that can get paint on them.
