Do you want your family to ride bikes together, but no one in your family knows how to ride bikes? With our new Family Learn-to-Ride classes your family can participate in an activity together that will enrich your family for years to come. Children will be taught how to ride bikes and ride bikes safely using the Walk! Bike! Fun! Curriculum. Adults who are brand new to bicycling will receive hands-on instruction from professional adult learn-to-ride instructors. Using an established best practice approach, participants progress from walking with a bike, to striding and gliding, to pedaling on their own, to riding with a group. Bikes and helmets will be provided, courtesy of Richfield Public Schools and Minnesota's Safe Routes to School Program, BikeMN and Free Bikes 4 Kidz.
This course is available for free, thanks to funding from the Minnesota Safe Routes to School Program and Richfield Public Schools.Instructor: Tim Brackett (Safe Routes to School Coordinator) & BikeMN Adult learn-to-ride Instructors
