Early Childhood Family Education classes are offered in Richfield at the Central Education Center. Fees are based on a sliding scale, and no one is turned away for inability to pay!

Families can play and learn together at events or activities.
Basic water safety and five levels of swim instruction.
At ECFE, we know the importance of children (and adults!) spending time outside. Each 6 week course in this new series focuses on specific ages or cohorts to connect families.

These sessions will meet outdoors in the Central Education Center Outdoor Classroom to offer a class that connects young learners with nature, creativity, and scientific inquiry. Children will stay outdoors for the full class. Caregivers will gradually separate from their children for time with a licensed parent educator to support caregivers and provide guidance on parenting topics for each cohort.

Estas sesiones se reunirán al aire libre en el Centro de Educación Central para ofrecer una clase que conecte estudiantes jóvenes con la naturaleza, la creatividad e investigaciones científicas. Los niños permanecerán afuera por toda la clase. Padres de familia/tutores se separaran gradualmente de sus niños/as para pasar un tiempo con una educadora licenciada para padres, y recibir guía en temas de la crianza para cada grupo.
Hi families! My name is Shanyn Hill and I have been an Early Childhood Educator for 9 years. This is my third year with Richfield ECFE and I love being a part of this community! I grew up in a suburb of Chicago, IL and moved here to attend the University of Minnesota where I earned my Masters in Early Childhood Education. In my spare time I enjoy dancing, gardening, baking, and walking/hiking! Can't wait to meet you!
