Early Childhood Family Education classes are offered in Richfield at the Central Education Center. Fees are based on a sliding scale, and no one is turned away for inability to pay!

We provide a play-based developmentally appropriate curriculum that is inclusive of all learners. / Proveemos un programa basado en el juego apropiado para el desarrollo, el cual es inclusivo para todos los estudiantes.
Families can play and learn together at events or activities.
Basic water safety and five levels of swim instruction.
Give your old clothing, sheets, curtains (and more!) a new lease on life by upcycling them into rugs, trivets and other useful items. In this class you will learn how to select rags and prepare them for use and how to use crochet to shape them into their new form.
Required supply list: (Note: Occasionally classes are canceled due to low enrollment. Please wait to purchase supplies until 5 business days prior to the start of this class to ensure the class will be held.)
Please be sure to bring the following items to our first meeting:
● A pair of large sharp scissors (If you have a rolling cutter and pad, bring that too, but don’t buy one just for this.)
● One or more large crochet hooks (size M or larger)
● Something to contain your strips of fabric: a plastic shopping bag, pillowcase, etc.
● Some large stitch markers or safety pins
