Early Childhood Family Education classes are offered in Richfield at the Central Education Center. Fees are based on a sliding scale, and no one is turned away for inability to pay!

Learn the skills needed to become a sought-after babysitter! Implement a plan for finding babysitting jobs and care for kids of all ages with equal measures of skill and fun. Following the Smart Kids 101 Babysitting curriculum, topics covered include: Marketing and organizing your babysitting skills, engaging kids of all ages, the character of a babysitter, administering first aid and taking care of emergencies, common problems babysitters face — and the solutions! Offered in partnership with the City of Richfield.

Siguiendo el temario de Smart Kids 101 Babysitting. Entre los temas tratados se incluye: ¡Mercadeo y organización de las habilidades de cuidado de niños, captar niños de todas las edades, la personalidad de un/a niñero/a, administrar primeros auxilios y atender emergencias, los problemas comunes que enfrentan los/las niñeras/os - y sus respectivas soluciones! Lorinda Losier is a Licensed Early Childhood Educator and loves being a PreK Teacher. Lorinda and her husband, Shayne, reside in Lakeville. They have two adopted dogs whom Lorinda refers to as her “fur-ever” toddlers.
Lorinda is a lifelong learner who is passionate about sharing knowledge with others. One of her teaching goals is to empower her students to become confident learners. Through years of personal experience raising two children and professional experience as a PreK Teacher, Lorinda is excited to share her knowledge with future Babysitters!
